Meet The Team
Shab helped his father establish the Tower Tandoori. Since 1978, he has worked hard to build and expand the business and has taken it from strength to strength. Shab is seen as a pioneer of the Indian restaurant industry. Still very enthusiastic, he can be found conversing with patrons at the restaurant on most evenings.
Favourite Dish: Spicy Spinach, Lentils and Chickpeas
Suhel completed a masters degree in International Management and Marketing. Suhel has been involved with the business from a very young age and is in charge of all restaurant operations. Probably the most optimistic person in the entire world, seeing Suhel without a smile is practically unheard of!
Favourite Dish: Chicken Dansak
Emon is a corporate lawyer, keen restaurateur, car fanatic and self declared chef all rolled in one! Emon has also been involved with the business from a young age, he is our expert at recommending unique dishes and quite astonishingly seems to know everyone by name, address and car!
Favourite Dish: Tandoori Mixed Grill
Russel, currently at Uni joined the family business in 2010. Often mistaken to be the eldest brother which he is somewhat proud of is also a true tea connoisseur. Russel is an integral part of the Tower Tandoori front of house team.
Favourite Dish: King Prawn Bhuna
The Tower Tandoori experience is much more than good Indian food – it’s also about the atmosphere, the overall ambience and the feel of the place. We know that creating this environment is challenging but we also know it starts with the right people, thats why our team consists of some the most passionate, hard working individuals in the industry.
